Beautiful fairy dreamy magic white tree

On Friday October 28, 2022, the American Cancer Society along with chairs, Christy and Teddy Phillips will host the 20th annual Knoxville Hope Gala. Over the past 2 decades, more than 3.5 million dollars has been raised to fund life-changing research for those who have been touched by cancer.

In celebration of the event's anniversary, the Hope Gala will launch Knoxville's first, Garden of Hope! The Garden of Hope will represent a celebration of those who have encountered the disease, whether they are in remission, currently in treatment, or sadly no longer with us. The garden will honor their journeys. Please join our chairs, Cindi and Pete DeBusk, to help illuminate how far we've come in cancer care, treatment and prevention, as well as how far we have to go.

Your donation of $1,000 supports the Society's vision to create a world without fear of a cancer diagnosis for our future generations and includes:

We hope you will join in on this inaugural event by honoring the people in your lives who have been touched by cancer with a dedication in our Garden of Hope. All submissions must be made before midnight on Sunday, September 11, 2022.
